bodaggit
Well I'm back, inspired to visit my blog again by the fact that I'm currently in San Antonio visiting my wife's family, and they have a sweet new computer. I'm talkin' one of those 20" flatscreen monitors and a supersonic connection speed. Right now I'm wondering if it would fit in my suitcase.
There's no particular reason for this entry, except that I was seriously considering renaming my blog page "bodaggit," in keeping with my commitment to explore the nature of words. We owe our debt of gratitude to Jon Heder of Napoleon Dynamite for this contribution to the pop culture lexicon. Remember the scene when Napoleon throws a large citrus fruit at Uncle Rico's windshield, leading to perhaps the lamest wrestling match in cinema history, after which Napoleon throws a swift elbow to Uncle Rico's solar plexus and exclaims, "Get off me, you bodaggit!" A more articulate expression of frustration perhaps was never uttered. And speaking of udders, "it looks pretty good, except for that little guy right there. He is nipple number 5. A good dairy cow should have like 4."
I have drawn deeply from the well of wisdom that is Napoleon Dynamite, but I decided that changing my blog page title would be a foolishly self-imposed limitation. I would hate to post a blog about, say, the communion of the saints, on a website called bodaggit.blogspot.com... which reminds me, I need to change my url.

At first I was taken aback by your comment, Matt. I didn't know what you meant by saying "since you don't have much to say"... then I realized, you're probably still checking the url belongstogregmorrison.blogspot.com, which only has one or two posts on it. I changed the url to gregmorrison.blogspot.com, and I have had alot more to say since the "bodaggit" posting. sorry, I thought I updated everyone.
or maybe you have been reading my other posts, and you just think I'm not saying much substantial about Orthodoxy's beliefs. either way, I want to address your question, but I must admit that I need to research it a little. There's still so much about Orthodox theology that I have to learn. I will see what I can find out and post a comment in response to yours.
and I hope I'm not offending you or anyone else with the title of my blog, write belief. I just wanted to do a clever play-on-words, and it seemed to work with the whole purpose of a blog, writing about your beliefs and all... but I guess I can't shy away from the fact that the very term "orthodoxy" does implicitly challenge other systems of belief. in any case, it's getting some good dialogue going with other seeker-minded Christians like you and me, and that can only be good, right? the time that we stop caring to know more about God is the time our faith is truly endangered.
Cool blog as for me. I'd like to read a bit more concerning that matter.
By the way check the design I've made myself Young escort
